Negotiating a successful real estate contract requires
communication skills and the ability to create a environment of
cooperation. Many of our real estate clients have been very
experienced negotiators, and from them we have learned that the
goal is to reach a "good agreement" - one in which the
underlying interests of both buyer and seller are met. The
results of a poor agreement may come back to haunt the parties
after closing. Here are some thoughts for you to consider as you
prepare to ...

As a mother, I feel that it's my duty to look out for the needs
of each individual in the family. I believe that no one person,
child nor adult, is more important than any other. Every single
member of the family is unique and special and their needs are
unique and special. Even if all kids live under the same house
rules, they're taught and enforced differently depending on each
one's learning curve and personality type. Also the adults in
the house are to be equal regardless of who raises the ...

(BusinessWire) Charlotte, NC (July 12, 2010):Throughout the credit crisis that's happening now, getting a used
car loan has become very hard. Years ago, qualifying for a used car loan was a less complicated and involved process. In those days, having a borderline credit rate did not make much difference. Those with good credit receive car loans easily, but people with lower scores can also receive loans through specific companies. During the current financial crisis it has become much more ...

"I just wanted to help put my three kids through college," says
Debby Sibert when asked how she got into selling Christmas
cards. Knowing that Christmas is one time a year that businesses
have a budget set aside to send Christmas cards to all their
clients and customers, she figured it would be a lucrative
business and would only last a few months so she wouldn't have
to work all year long. She started selling to local businesses
by making appointments then lugging two heavy bags, ...

You don't have to be a "marketing guru" to make some extra bucks
with your website.
My dad recently retired after many years working in the concrete
industry. He suddenly had extra time on his hands, so he started
doing some fun things with concrete. One of his most successful
projects is the unique concrete leaves that he molds from real
rhubarb leaves.
He gives his leaves away to grateful friends and family, even
though leaves just like them are showing up in many landscaping
magazines as ...

Nowadays, it is not unusual to find that there are thousands of
people (and most of them are young people who are even below 40)
who earn as much as 6-figure incomes from home. This is largely
due to the many advantages that a work-from- home business
offers, such as:
* Generating revenue with a considerable decrease in expenses.
You save money on travel expenses (gas, toll fees, car
maintenance) and other similar costs.
* You are your own boss. You work where you want, when you want,
or how ...

My wife, my two preschoolers, and I recently drove from Canon
City, Colorado to Readstown, Wisconsin in a 4-door dodge neon.
I'm happy to report my children are still alive. Believe it or
not this was one of the most enjoyable times I've experienced in
the past year. My family grew closer and I learned to experience
joy in that most exasperating of questions, 'Are we there yet?'
I learned that it is better to be creative than it is to be
frustrated and angry. One of my boys would ask, 'Are we ...

If you're thinking of starting a home business, you've got to
realise something about life. Life has a certain balance: there
is no pleasure without pain, and there are no pros without cons.
Here's a look at the upsides and downsides of home businesses.
Pro: Independence. You do what you want, when you want. No-one
else can screw up your hard work, and you don't need to depend
on anyone but yourself. Your days of being told what to do are
over. And there's no dress code, either! Many people who ...
